For 38 years, we have lovingly cooked and created truly authentic and delicious Italian meals. 

What we love most is how we are able to share the Italian dolce vita with the people of this city. Although it's no longer Thanksgiving, we never tire of thanking our fantastic patrons. 

Recently we received a letter from a long time customer, more like a friend after all these years of sharing meals together. We are so blessed to have built relationships like this with you.

June is not over yet! Come celebrate Italian Heritage Month at Il Centro and La Piazza Dario.

Italian Heritage Month may be more than half over, but there are still lots of events to attend and fun to be had. For example, there's even an event taking place today! Happening today at Il Centro, otherwise known as the Italian Cultural Centre, is the Trevigiano-Veneto Choir & Italian Men's Choir in Concert. 

As you may know, Il Centro is located on Slocan Street right beside La Piazza Dario. Which is why we would like to welcome you to partake in Italian Heritage Month, get lost in the Italian culture, and then finish up your day Italiana with a gorgeous, authentic Italian meal by Chef Claudio Ranallo here at La Piazza Dario.

Happy Father's Day! Come celebrate this Sunday with us at La Piazza Dario.

We are excited to share with you that we will be open this Sunday and are currently taking reservations for Father's Day dinner!

Discover the delicious tastes of Italian Christmas with these traditional desserts.

While we're so excited to celebrate the new year with you next week and share many special meals together at our tables throughout 2014, today we are focusing our attention on some delicious Italian Christmas desserts!

With Christmas Day only two days away we know that there are many Italian families out there preparing for some traditional Italian meals. And we bet we know what will be on the menu for dessert; some tradition panetonne or pandoro!

Panetonne

A sweet bread loaf who's home is Milan, Italy, panetonne is comparable to cake in sweetness. Panetonne is often baked with candied orange, lemon zest or raisins, however, it can also be made plain or with chocolate!

Pandoro

Pandoro is a sweet yeast bread originally from Verona, Italy and is traditionally shaped like a star. The pandoro is usually dusted with icing sugar. Occasionally, the pandoro will be hollowed out in the middle and filled with cream or gelato.

We know that Christmastime is a time for family and home cooked meals, but we would love to invite your family to ours after the the Christmas rush is all said and done. Take a break from those leftovers and come to our table for some authentic Italian home cooking. You'll need a break from all that turkey anyways!
